Financing

A new roof shouldn't wait for a windfall.

Roofs, windows, and siding fail on their own schedule. Financing through our lending partners spreads the cost into a predictable monthly payment — with terms shown up front, on approved credit, and zero pressure to use them.

Promotional 0% periods

Pay the project off inside the promo window — commonly 12 to 18 months — and the financing costs you nothing. The most popular option for window and siding projects.

Fixed monthly terms

Longer terms turn a full roof into a predictable line item — often comparable to a phone bill. Fixed rate, fixed payment, no balloon, no penalty for finishing early.

Same-day decisions

Apply during the estimate in minutes, soft-pull prequalification first, and most answers come back before the advisor's truck leaves the curb.

Financing offered through third-party lending partners, on approved credit. Exact rates, terms, and promotions vary — your advisor presents the current options in writing during your free estimate.

A word about deductibles

If a roofer offers to "cover your deductible," show them the door.

Waiving or “absorbing” deductibles has been explicitly illegal in Texas since 2019 (HB 2102, Insurance Code chapter 707). It’s the oldest storm-chaser trick in the book, and it tells you exactly how that company handles everything else. We'll finance your legitimate costs and document your claim properly instead. That's Dawn Patrol.

Good questions

Asked, answered.

How does financing actually work at Kingbird?

During your free estimate, your advisor shows current options from our third-party lending partners — typically a mix of promotional 0%-interest periods and fixed-rate terms up to 10 or 15 years, on approved credit. You apply in minutes, most decisions come back the same day, and the project schedules exactly like a cash job.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Prequalification runs as a soft pull — it shows you real terms without touching your score. A hard inquiry only happens if you accept an offer and finalize the loan, the same as any other financing.

Can I finance my insurance deductible after a storm?

Here's the straight answer: your deductible is your legal responsibility — waiving or “absorbing” it has been explicitly illegal in Texas since 2019 (HB 2102, Insurance Code chapter 707), and homeowners who knowingly go along can be on the hook too. What we can do: finance the legitimate out-of-pocket portions of your project, upgrades beyond the insurance scope included.

Is there a penalty for paying it off early?

No. Every option we present can be paid off early without penalty — if a lender's product ever changed that, we'd stop offering it. Many homeowners use a 0% promo window exactly that way: free spreading of the cost, paid off before interest exists.

What if my credit isn't great?

Apply anyway — approvals run deeper than a single score, and a co-applicant often changes the answer. If financing genuinely isn't available, we'll tell you straight and help you phase the work sensibly (roof first, always) instead of pushing you into a payment you shouldn't take.
